Our services begin at the airport when you arrive. A rep from Lif-sham will meet you as soon as you are out of the arrivals hall. You will be escorted to your transport, be it by air or sea. Transfers will be prearranged to suit your flight times. Sun Island informs you of your departure day and time. Our rep will meet you again when you arrive at the airport to catch your flight home.
Clinic
Sun Island provides the services of an in house
doctor and nurses at its clinic. Open daily the clinic attends to any
of your medical needs with care and attention. The clinic is well equipped
and facilities include a well-stocked pharmacy and private rooms for in
house observation and treatment.
Conference
Facilities
A conference hall with a capacity of 400, a business
centre with personal computers, photocopiers, communications and secretarial
services make up the conference facilities at Sun Island.
Health
and Beauty
A fully equipped gymnasium where you may if you
prefer, get the help of an instructor, and daily aerobics sessions let
you keep in shape while on holiday. The Health Club provides a variety
of other facilities including Jacuzzis in addition to those located by
the poolside, sauna, steam bath, chilled pond and oil massages. The Shiatsu-massage
Centre offers a variety of Japanese massages to relax your body and soul.
A Beauty Saloon provides professional services in facials, manicure and
pedicure, hair styling and hair dressing.
Payment
Just sign in after a service is rendered at any
of the outlets and the resort will take care of your bills, adding them
up for payment before your departure. If you prefer to pay in shorter
intervals that will be arranged. Just mention it at the reception. The
resort accepts all major credit cards including Visa Card and Master Card,
American Express, JCB and Diners Club. All major hard currencies are accepted,
very few are not. Prices at the resort are given in US Dollars. Current
exchange rates are available at the reception any time.
Shopping
Be it souvenirs, stamps, disposable underwater cameras or even video cameras,
you can buy it at Sun Island from one of the many shops located in the
main complex. The Souvenir Shop stocks postcards, stamps, sun lotions
and creams, cigarettes and a variety of other goods that you may need
during your stay. There is a Gems and Jewellery shop and a Cosmetics Shop,
which stocks the latest in perfumes and other cosmetic items. The Electronics
Shop sells CD players, VCRs, cameras and a range of other electrical and
electronic gadgets and gizmos. A special shop for designer wear offers
the latest fashions in casual and formal wear, and holiday and beach wear.
Print your holiday snaps at the Photoshop, which also stocks a range of
cameras including disposables and underwater cameras.
You may hire a bicycle for the duration of your holiday or better still hire a moped. Or you may hitch a ride on a passing mini van from those that circulate around the island running errands and taking passengers from one point to another.
